The POTUS was at ASU yesterday giving the commencement speech. I heard a clip of it on the Limbaugh show and I was blown away. I heard Obama say that we, as a nation, had become complacent. I then heard him SLAM all of our brave men and women in uniform.
I came home and started to look up copies of his speech. I found this at Huffington Post
We've become accustomed to the title of "military super-power," forgetting the qualities that earned us that title - not just a build-up of arms, or accumulation of victories, but the Marshall Plan, the Peace Corps, our commitment to working with other nations to pursue the ideals of opportunity, equality and freedom that have made us who we are.
That was not what I heard. So, I looked up the video on YouTube. After listening to it and finding that area I found that what he really said was this. (Transcribed myself directly from the video.)
We’ve become accustomed to the title of “military super-power,” forgetting the qualities that got us there; not just the power of our weapons, but the discipline and valor and the code of conduct of our men and women in uniform.
Here is the video to back up my transcription. (Quote from 4:35 to 4:50)
Obama's comments about "discipline and valor and the code of conduct of our men and women in uniform" leads one to believe that he thinks that our troops lack these things.
Why is the media not calling him on this? Why are they not calling him out and asking him why he does not like this country?
Obama is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and he should act like it. If he is going to make comments like this then he should be removed from office and placed before a military tribunal for giving aide to the enemy during times of war.
This should be the last thing he see's.
How can anyone support Obama when he is bent on tearing this country apart?
